Report: Glib Zagoriy becomes one of the most productive lawmakers of 2018

The MP has co-authored 13 bills, 5 of which became the laws of Ukraine.

The Bloc of Petro Poroshenko party member, a member of the veterans’ and people with disabilities affairs parliamentary committee, Glib Zagoriy has become one of the most productive lawmakers of the Verkhovna Rada in 2018

The portal rada.oporaua.org has included lawmakers, whose legislative initiatives were supported by the parliament in more than 30 percent of cases, in the list of most productive ones, reads Glib Zagoriy’s report. The MP has co-authored 13 bills, 5 of which became the laws of Ukraine.

Those were the laws:

№2443-VIII «On making changes into the certain legislative acts of Ukraine concerning the social protection of wounded participants of the Revolution of Dignity and some other individuals»;

№ 2462-VIIІ «On making changes into certain laws of Ukraine in relation with the adoption of the Law Ukraine “On state policy of securing the sovereignty of Ukraine on the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts»; 

№ 2581-VIII «On making changes into certain legislative acts of Ukraine about using the term “a person with disabilities” and its derivatives»; 

№ 2640-VIII «On making changes into article 6 of the Law of Ukraine “On veterans of the war status, guarantees of their social security» concerning the reinforcement of the social protection for the members of the struggle for Ukraine’s independence in XX century»;

№ 2684-VIII «On making changes into the article 3-1 of the Law of Ukraine “On veterans of the war status, guarantees of their social security» concerning the Unified state register of the war veterans».

As a part of his work in the parliamentary committee Glib Zagoriy co-authored 15 conclusions on different bills, and also took an active part in creation of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs in Ukraine.
